WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- A kitchen fire gutted an apartment on Saturday in West Palm Beach.
West Palm Beach Fire Rescue crews responded to the fire on the fourth floor at 326 Fern Street in West Palm Beach.
The occupant of the apartment is being assisted by the American Red Cross.
The third floor of the apartment building suffered minor water damage.
Residents evacuated during the fire, but have since returned.
