A man is dead and a woman was critically injured in a double shooting early Tuesday morning in West Palm Beach.
The incident happened shortly after 2 a.m. at the Presidential Golfview Condominiums located at 2050 North Congress Ave.
West Palm Beach police said when they arrived they found a man, identified as Michel Jean, 71, shot and killed inside an apartment.
A woman, identified as Viergella Sergilles, 34, was found at the scene and transported to St. Mary's Medical Center in critical condition.
Investigations said a preliminary investigation revealed this was a domestic-related attempted murder-suicide.
Jean is believed to be the woman's boyfriend.
Police said Sergilles' two children were inside the apartment at the time of the shootings but did not witness the incident.
