DIRTY DINING: Caribbean restaurant temporarily closed in West Palm after live roaches discovered

A West Palm Beach Caribbean restaurant was temporarily closed down after state inspectors found roaches in the kitchen.

State inspectors say they found live roaches behind a cooler and on shelving in the kitchen of Yaad Spice restaurant located on 45th Street in West Palm Beach.

Live, small flying insects were also found in the kitchen, food preparation area or food storage area. 

Inspectors said there was also sewage and wastewater backing up through the floor drains.

The restaurant was temporarily closed but is back open.
