A West Palm Beach man last seen in the Dominican Republic has been missing for more than a week now, and Darryl Fornatora's family is looking for answers.
It's been 11 days since 46-year-old Fornatora disappeared while on a surfing trip.
"Initially we though he'd be easy to spot. But it's not," said Fornatora's father Gilbert.
Gilbert's father is in constant contact with authorities in the Domincan Republic, but there are so many questions, and little information to go on.
"We're hoping to generate some kind of lead or a sighting. That's what we need," said Gilbert.
On Sunday, friends came together at the Lake Park Tennis Courts to be there for the family, but also support search efforts, raising money through a round robin tennis tournament.
Gilbert said authorities in the Dominican Republic are searching everyday, from early morning until night.
Family and friends say they won't give up until Darryl is found.
