WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- The Home Depot store located at 6800 Okeechobee Boulevard was evacuated Saturday morning.
At 11:05 a.m., Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews responded to reports of smoke in the tool department.
Crews reported seeing white smoke coming from the air vents and began investigating.
The source of the smoke was determined to be a burned out fan motor from an air conditioning unit on the roof.
There was no fire.
The store was evacuated during the incident for safety. There were no reported injuries.
