Thousands of supporters joined together for the Autism Speaks Palm Beach Walk in downtown West Palm Beach Sunday.
Organizers said it was a great opportunity to come together for support and learn about the resources available to those living on the spectrum.
Walk chair Marla Garchik said getting a diagnosis is an important first step. "It gets you the services that you need. Because you might not know where to turn, what to do. But once you have that, that's your starting point."
