WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Police were on scene behind the Downtown Food Store at the intersection of Seventh Street and N. Tamarind Avenue Monday morning, investigating an apparent overdose death.

Police responded to the scene just after 8 a.m. after a report of a deceased individual.
Detectives found a homeless person who had appeared to have died from a drug overdose.
