One person was killed and another injured in a rollover crash involving two vehicles near Summit Boulevard and Kirk Road Thursday night.

At 10:15 p.m., the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said a 2003 Ford F350, driven by Michael Waddlr, 50, of suburban West Palm Beach, was traveling westbound on Summit Boulevard approaching Kirk Road.

A 2008 Kia Sorento, driven by Dorethea Collier, 54, of suburban West Palm Beach, was traveling northbound on Kirk Road approaching Summit Boulevard.

As both vehicles entered the intersection, the front of Waddlr's truck collided with the passenger side of the Kia.

Waddlr's truck rotated and overturned, sliding northwest. The driver side of the cab struck a cement utility pole.

The Kia rotated and overturned, coming to rest on the northwest side of the intersection on the grass facing northwest.

Waddlr was pronounced dead at the scene by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

Collier was transported to JFK Hospital with serious injuries.
