PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — Firefighters rescued a victim from a sinking car that crashed into a canal Tuesday morning near West Palm Beach.
The car crashed into the canal just before 9 a.m. along Kudza Road.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said the car was sinking in the water with the driver trapped inside when firefighters arrived.
Firefighters were able to quickly rescue the driver before the car sank.
The victim was taken to a hospital. His or her condition was not immediately known.
