Officials say a man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing west of Lake Worth Beach in unincorporated Palm Beach County Wednesday afternoon.
The sheriff's office said deputies found a man with numerous stab wounds in the 6800 block of Fountains Circle.
Trauma Hawk was called and took the victim to a hospital for treatment, fire rescue said. His condition was not released.
Deputies took 46-year-old Demarest Stevenson of Pompano Beach into custody.
The sheriff's office said he faces a charge of attempted first degree murder.
He was expected to make his first appearance in court Thursday morning.
