A Riviera Beach man, accused of firing shots at the mother of his children Thursday, is being held in jail without bond.
Law enforcement said Timothy Patterson, 24, got into an argument with the woman near West 35th Street, which escalated to shots fired.
The woman called 911 but hung up the phone.
Police later met up with the woman, who they said was irate when they arrived at the scene.
Patterson was taken into custody, booked into the Palm Beach County overnight and charged with attempted murder.
He was scheduled to appear in court Friday morning but refused his court appearance.
