On Tuesday, March 13, Riviera Beach voters go to the polls. At stake are two council seats, in District 2 and District 4. In both races, incumbents have drawn one opponent.

In District 2, incumbent Kashamba Miller-Anderson, an assistant principal at Bear Lakes Middle, is facing a challenger in firefighter Keith Golden.

In District 4, incumbent Dawn Pardo, a real estate agent, is being challenged by retired educator Julia Botel.

District 2 encompasses the eastern part of Riviera Beach whereas District 4 covers Singer Island.

Candidates are required to reside in the district they want to represent but all registered voters in Riviera Beach can cast ballots in both races.

We invited all of the candidates. Unfortunately, Councilwoman Pardo had to cancel citing a scheduling conflict.

The other candidates were in our studios talking about their visions for Riviera Beach.

The candidates were asked questions by reporter Wanda Moore and moderator Michael Williams.
