PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — A suburban Lake Worth man is under arrest and charged with murder after a woman was found dead in a home early Tuesday morning.

PBSO said the killing happened around 3:30 a.m. in 6800 block of Torch Key St.

Investigators said 54-year-old Wilfrid Buteau killed 49-year-old Aliette Buteau inside the home. Family members who arrived at the scene said the couple are married and have an 8-year-old child.

Our WPTV crew on scene Monday morning saw multiple crime scene units and deputy cruisers in the neighborhood.

Buteau was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on a charge of second-degree murder. He's being held without bond, and will make his first appearance in court on Wednesday.

No other details, including what led to the crime, have been released.

Detectives from PBSO's Violent Crimes Division are investigating.

The Palm Beach County School District said Wilfrid Buteau was a school bus driver for the district.
