Palm Beach County 'Selfie Trail' highlights photo-worthy spots

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. -- Follow the “Selfie Trail” to discover Palm Beach County or help others do the same.

Discover the Palm Beaches has launched a new website that aims to inspire visitors and residents to explore the area.

The Jupiter Lighthouse, Lion Country Safari and the Snorkel Trail are among the destinations featured.

The new site, www.thepalmbeaches.com , includes user-generated content on an interactive map called the “Selfie Trail.” 

There are photos and videos taken in the area and posted to social media.  The site also aims to help visitors build a personalized itinerary through a tool called UTrip. 

The tool uses information on your interests and budget to help you plan a journey using hundreds of destination options.

There are 39 cities and towns in The Palm Beaches, the site includes city-specific landing pages. 

Users are encouraged to post their selfies and tag @PalmBeachesFL using the hashtag #PBSelfie Trail.
