Manalapan has issued a precautionary boil water notice for all town residents.
The town blamed an electronic malfunction at the re-pump station on Lands End Road. That caused water pressure to fall below acceptable levels.
As a result, the boil water notice will continue until testing shows the water is safe to drink.
