John Kujawa has the crystal clear video to thank.
"It was something that really made this big difference."
In September, his boat was stolen. His security system caught the thieves on camera. Within several days they were behind bars and his boat returned to him.
"Give them clarity, give them the detail and give the evidence that we're going to need," says Kujawa.

"Every year we've been growing," said Gonzalez.
He says porch pirates in the news are a common reason for the rush.
"See a lot more break-ins, more burglaries than usual so we do get a lot more calls," he said.
John is not surprised by the surge. He says it's an investment worth making.
"People are going to want to protect what's theirs."
