LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. -- The annual Veterans Day parade and ceremony has been canceled due to rainy weather.
The event was originally planned to take place on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 11 a.m.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is reopening the roads in downtown Lake Worth Beach that were closed for the parade.
The city said in a statement: "Although the parade cannot happen, the City of Lake Worth Beach salutes our veterans and thanks all for their service. "
