A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Tri-Rail train Thursday evening, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
The incident happened at 6:25 p.m. near 6th Avenue S and Barber Avenue.
Officials said the pedestrian was confirmed dead at the scene.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
