LAKE WORTH, Fla. — The streets of downtown Lake Worth were packed this weekend for the 25th annual Street Painting Festival.
Nearly 700 artists grabbed their chalk and transformed the streets with abstract art, cartoons and murals. Thousands of people walk around them taking pictures of the artists hard at work.
“It's exhausting, and it's really hot. We always get sunburned, but it is fun because we're doing what we love,” said artist Hannah Fox.
All of the art will stay on the streets until rain washes it away.
Aside from the street art, there was also live music and food for people to enjoy.
