PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. -- The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said Monday that a horse that was rescued after falling into a swimming pool Sunday has died.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office got the call to a home in the 5000 block of Fearnley Rd., west of Greenacres, at about 12:30 p.m.
A deputy arrived at the scene and helped to keep the horse calm before Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews removed him from the pool.
PBSO confirmed Monday morning that the horse later died.
