A man is facing charges after almost hitting a police officer in Riviera Beach.
Police say there was a traffic stop in the 5000 block of Military Trail and then the driver took off and the officer had to jump out of the way.
Palm Beach County sheriff's deputies tracked down the driver on Haverhill Road.
The man was arrested.
His identity has not been released.
