One person is dead after a rollover crash in Palm Springs, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
It happened near 7th Ave N and Kirk Rd around 3:13 p.m.
The vehicle that rolled over was a Ford Expedition that was heading south on Kirk and swerved to avoid a vehicle stopped in front of it, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
As the Expedition tried to drive around the stopped vehicle that vehicle began to make a turn and caused the Ford driver to speed up, investigators said.
When the Expedition accelerated the driver overcorrected, lost control and overturned, PBSO said.
A passenger was ejected in the process and died from his injuries, according to a traffic report. PBSO identified him as 16-year-old Brian Pineda. According to the sheriff's office, he was not wearing a seat belt.
The driver and another passenger in the Ford received minor injuries, authorities said.
