A bicyclist involved in a crash with a vehicle in mid-September has died, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
65-year-old Robert Diemer passed away Thursday, more than two weeks after the crash, PBSO said.
According to investigators, Diemer was on Haverhill Road approaching the eastbound entrance ramp to SR 80 as a white cargo van began accelerating onto the ramp.
PBSO said Diemer failed to stop and did not use the pedestrian crossing signal. Investigators say his bike possibly drove into the side of the van.
