Suburban West Palm Beach shooting victim dies

PBSO investigating a shooting in West Palm Beach

A man has died from injuries following a shooting along the 7600 block of Hooper Rd. in suburban West Palm Beach Saturday afternoon.

He was identified as 26-year-old Benton Lee on Monday by Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said Lee had been shot several times. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue took the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives and crime scene investigators were on scene for several hours collecting evidence.

PBSO said at this time they do not know the motive or have any suspect information.
