LOS ANGELES (KCBS/KCAL/CNN) -- A road-rage incident caught on camera Monday evening in Southern California stunned witnesses and led to the arrest of a driver.
Police said the driver is facing charges after he went after another driver with his vehicle.
Alyona Suvvotima was working when she witnessed the situation just a few yards away from her in North Hollywood.
"He was really crushing the truck with so much power," she said. "The truck was right by the bus stop. I was thinking somebody is going to die for sure."
In a video released by the Los Angeles Police Department that has since gone viral, a white BMW can be seen slamming into a truck multiple times. As the truck’s driver attempts to get away, the car slams into it again.
At one point the cars get so close to a bus stop that people can be seen running away so they won’t get hit.
Police said the incident happened at the intersection of Victory and Laurel Canyon.
An arrest for Assault with a Deadly Weapon has been made in connection with this incident, which occurred Monday evening in the area of Victory Blvd & Laurel Canyon.

Suvvotima captured what happened when the cars came to a stop.
“The driver of the white BMW came outside, and he started to argue. And he was acting really mad,” she said. “And it was shocking."
Police said the driver of the BMW is 27-year-old David Zulalyan. He faces possible assault with a deadly weapon charge -- the deadly weapon in this case being his car.
Police aren’t saying what prompted this dangerous reaction from the driver.
However, a woman who witnessed the situation said the driver of the truck initially hit the BMW and tried to get away.
"The car crash happens, but you wouldn't act this way. And he acted really aggressively,” Suvvotima said. “A normal person wouldn't act like that."
The suspect was arrested by police but was released after posting a $30,000 bond. Witnesses say they are praising the truck driver’s actions because that person never got out of their vehicle.
