ELECTION DAY — The 2016 elections may be stealing the headlines, but there will still be plenty on the line when Americans head to the polls this Tuesday. A gubernatorial race in Kentucky is coming down to the wire, as Republican Matt Bevin faces off with state Attorney General Jack Conway. In Louisiana, the race to replace term-limited presidential candidate Bobby Jindal is heating up between Sen. David Vitter and Democrat John Bel Edwards.

In other notable elections, Ohio voters will decide whether to legalize marijuana, and Houstonians will decide whether to pass an ordinance to protect LGBT rights.

POLITICS — The second Democratic national debate will take place on Friday at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S. Car. With an already thin field becoming slimmer, Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Maryland governor Jim O'Malley will look to take a piece out of Hillary Clinton's enormous lead.

MUSIC — Country music's biggest stars will descend on Nashville this week for the 49th annual Country Music Awards. This year, Garth Brooks, Eric Church, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert and Luke Bryan are all vying for the coveted "Entertainer of the Year" award. The awards will air live on ABC on Wednesday at 8 p.m. eastern.

SPORTS — With a 3-1 series lead, the Kansas City Royals are just one win away from wrapping up their first World Series championship since 1985. Edinson Volquez, who pitched six strong innings in Game One just hours after his father passed away from a heart attack, will start Game Five for the Royals on Sunday.

In college football, the 12-member playoff committee will meet for the first time on Tuesday and give their initial rankings. 2014 champion and currently undefeated Ohio State will figure to hold the top spot. Following the regular season, the committee will determine which four teams will compere in the College Football Playoff.

MOVIES — Spectre, the 24th and latest James Bond film, is slated for a worldwide release on Friday. Any release featuring 007 is significant, but this may be the series' final installment with Daniel Craig starring as Bond. Though Bond likely hasn't sipped his final "shaken, not stirred" martini, it's time to begin speculation as to which actor will carry the torch.

Friday also remarks the release of The Peanuts Movie, the first feature film in the franchise since 1980. Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus and Snoopy will hit the silver screen with a modern, 3D makeover.
