(NBC) - Video has been released of an explosion at a medical marijuana dispensary that left two employees severely burned.
The New Mexico Environment Department on Tuesday released the video from an incident that occurred in June 2015.
It shows workers apparently using butane to extract THC from marijuana to make cannabis oil. Suddenly the room bursts into flames.
One worker struggled to open a nearby door and escape, and another is seen seconds later running and jumping through the flames to get out.
Both men suffered third-degree burns in the explosion.
The Santa Fe-based dispensary is one of dozens licensed in the state. It received a fine from OSHA for more than $13,000 as a result of the blast.
