Nykea Aldridge, the cousin of Chicago Bulls star Dwyane Wade, was killed by crossfire in Chicago Friday afternoon, authorities said.
The 32-year-old mother of 4, was pushing a baby in a stroller when two males walked up and fired shots at a third man about 3:30 p.m.
Police say Aldridge was not the intended target.
Police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office say she suffered gunshot wounds to her head and an arm.
One of the males who fired shots was being questioned Friday evening.
The baby wasn't hurt, and a relative has taken custody of the child.
My cousin was killed today in Chicago. Another act of senseless gun violence. 4 kids lost their mom for NO REASON. Unreal. #EnoughIsEnough
