Memorial Day weekend doesn’t only mean the unofficial start of summer, it means three days of deals.
Many stores are offering savings during the holiday weekend but what should shoppers put on their lists and which discounted items can wait?
Retail expert Trae Bodge from RetailMeNot.com recommended looking at mattresses, grills, patio furniture and camping gear during Memorial Day weekend because the discounts on those items will likely be among the deepest offered all year. On the other hand, Bodge suggested waiting to buy electronics, tools, swimwear and dishware because those items will likely be cheaper in June and July.
