"We're doing the utmost to produce a swift resolution & will be providing further updates as soon as we can."

Those were the words posted to the New York Stock Exchange twitter account Wednesday after it experienced a technical issue causing all trading to be suspended.

Shortly after, The Wall Street Journal said it's website was experiencing technical difficulty. It was back online fairly quickly.

The two incidents came on the heels of a computer glitch that affected United Airlines, causing flights to be delayed. All take-offs were temporarily stopped.
