(NBC) - Passengers on a United Airlines flight were happy to be safe on the ground after several panels came loose Tuesday and fell from the plane's ceiling during the flight.
Video recorded by a passenger shows the panels dangling as the plane bounced up and down while trying to land at Newark Airport in New Jersey.
The pilot had to cancel the landing and took off back into the skies, according to passengers.
The rough ride caused panels of the Boeing 767 to fall into the aisle as flight attendants checked on passengers.
The flight, which took off from Houston, circled for about 30 minutes before finally landing to the cheers from passengers.
No injuries have been reported.
An announcement over the plane's intercom apologized for the bumpy ride.
