Posted

A car flew into a home in Waynesboro, Virginia Saturday night, forcing the driver of a vehicle to be helped out of the rear of the car.

According to Waynesboro Police, the driver of a 2003 Dodge Durango failed to stop at a stop sign. The Durango then hit a parked 2008 Nissan Rogue and went airborne.

The Durango then came to a rest, on top of the Rogue with its front tires on the roof of a one-story house. The accident destroyed the chimney of the house.

According to Waynesboro Police, both the house and Nissan were unoccupied at the time of the accident.

Local police said the 24-year-old driver of the Durango was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
