Wonder Woman is getting a wardrobe upgrade!
On Wednesday, director Patty Jenkins tweeted out the very first poster for 'Wonder Woman 1984,' a sequel to the 2017 superhero hit film starring Gal Gadot.
"One... year... from... TODAY..." Jenkins tweeted, referencing the movie's release date of June 5, 2020. The poster shows Gadot in brand new gold-plated armor.
Gadot will reprise her role as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, an Amazonian warrior with super powers. In addition, Chris Pine will return as Steve Trevor, an American pilot and spy who was Prince's love interest in 2017's 'Wonder Woman.'
Kristen Wiig will star as the film's villain, Cheetah.
