MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. -- Deputies in Martin County are searching for suspects who burglarized a number of vehicles at the Cracker Barrel restaurant in Stuart, then stole a vehicle from a gas station in Palm City.
The suspects then led deputies on a pursuit before crashing the stolen vehicle near Leighton Farms Road.
Deputies believe that three, possibly four suspects bailed out of the vehicle and ran on foot.
One suspect stole a golf cart from golfers as they played at Hammock Creek Golf Course. That suspect was quickly captured.
Deputies are still searching for the remaining suspect(s). The only description provided is a black male wearing jean shorts.
A handgun was stolen from one of the vehicles at the Cracker Barrel, so that suspect might be armed.
Deputies ask that you call 911 if you see anything or anyone suspicious.
