JUPITER, Fla. — A semi-truck overturned and caught fire Friday morning on Florida's Turnpike in Jupiter, blocking all lanes.

The truck was burning in the southbound lanes near the Indiantown Road exit.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Capt. Albert Borroto said about 200 gallons of diesel fuel spilled onto the highway.

A man was taken to a hospital. His condition wasn't immediately known.

Borroto said firefighters were able to extinguish the flames.

Traffic was diverted off the turnpike at Indiantown Road while crews worked to clear the debris.
