WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Two WPTV journalists were just honored with a coveted regional Edward R. Murrow Award for their coverage of an emotionally gripping domestic violence case in South Florida.
Investigative reporter Merris Badcock and photojournalist Kaan Pala won a regional Murrow Award for Feature Reporting in the Large Market Television category.
Their award-winning story, 'Dangerous Decisions,' told the harrowing tale of three Boca Raton sisters who lost both of their parents to domestic violence.

Because of their regional Murrow Award win, Badcock and Pala's story now has a chance to win a national Murrow Award. The winners will be announced in mid-June.
