Today is "Super Saturday" -- often the busiest shopping day of the year. That's because it's the last Saturday before Christmas.
Analytics firm ShopperTrak predicts retailers will approach $10 billion in sales on Super Saturday.
For comparison, Black Friday spending accounted for $9.1 billion this year. Cyber Monday approached $1 billion this year.

While most sale ads start on Sunday, Big Lots has issued a sale ad that starts today. It includes:

Walmart's Top Toys Wish List Book deals are valid until December 24 and the book includes a whole page of Barbie items (everything from dolls for $7.97 to a Barbie Dream house for $149.97), and a Frozen page (with a Light-up Musical Dress for $28.88, Disney Frozen Singing Olaffor $24.97 and dolls starting at $14.88).
There are also items from Disney, Dora the Explorer, Monster High, Star Wars, Hot Wheels, Nerf, Fisher-Price and all the top brands.

Target
Today is the last day to buy items from Target's weekly ad that came out last Sunday. The big item this week is a Samsung 32" LED HDTV for $199.99 ($50 off). PLUS you get a $10 Target gift card. That deal is better than Target's Black Friday price when the same TV was on sale for $197 with no gift card.
On Page 5 of Target's ad, there are more TVs on sale.
- Westinghouse 50" 1080p Resolution LED HDTV for $379.99. Target offered a slightly larger, 55-inch Westinghouse on Black Friday for $395.
- The Samsung 40" 1080p Resolution Smart LED HDTV is on sale this week for $349.99. That's about $22 more than the Black Friday price of $327.99.
