(NBC) Uber is cutting its prices in 100 U.S. and Canadian cities.
Over the weekend, the ridesharing company announced in a blog post that it’s making the price cuts.
It's something Uber has done in the past due to supply and demand after discovering demand for rides drops in January as people tend to stay at home after the holidays.
It's not clear what kind of discount riders should expect since prices are different in each city. However, Uber is hoping the price cuts pull you off the couch.
