PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.- If you’ve been trying to find the hottest holiday toy this year, you may be in luck.

Toys “R” Us is restocking its shelves with Hatchimals, the robotic bird-like creatures that hatch with a little TLC.

More than 25 people lined up at the store on PGA Boulevard before it opened at 6 a.m. for a chance to score the elusive toy.

Mary Ellis and her mom, Kathy, were the first in line at 1:30 a.m.

"She knocked on my door and said Mary do you want to wait outside Toys R Us with me all day," Mary Ellis said about her mom. "I'm like, ok fine, I thought she was joking at first but here I am."

The store received a shipment of 64 Hatchimals. By 7 a.m., there were just 16 left.

The toys are selling at Toys “R” Us for $79.99.

The store closes at 2 a.m.

If you miss your chance to get a Hatchimal, members of the Toys “R” Us rewards program will be entered for a chance to win a Hatchimal.
