(NBC NEWSCHANNEL) The no-tipping test has ended at some Joe's Crab Shack restaurants.
In a recent call with analysts, the CEO of Joe's parent company Ignite Restaurant Group said the no-tipping policy has ended at 14 of the 18 restaurants where it was being tested and that research indicated 60 percent of customers disliked it.
The test was seen as groundbreaking for a major national chain.
There are 13 Joe’s Crab Shack restaurants in Florida. Two are in Broward County.
