You may have thought (like the rest of us) that Target couldn't get much better after announcing its own exclusive $5 wine brand, but you were mistaken. Target just announced the store is lowering prices on thousands of items you use everyday, so get ready to love shopping at Target even more. Trips to Target are unlike anything else. Not only can you find the milk you needed (a.k.a the only thing that's actually on the list), but you can also find throw pillows, shower curtains and those candles you never knew your life was missing—making this store the best place on Earth. According to a press release, you're about to love Target locations even more. Now, expect discounts on everything from cereal and paper towels to baby formula, razors, bath tissue and so much more. What To Expect

1. Save On Everyday Items

Expect to see some of your favorite items have an all-new, lower price.

2. Less Sales Marketing

Target's admitted that some of their ads for sales can become cluttered and overwhelming. So now, they're doing away with two-thirds of their price and offer call-outs so you can spot where the deals are really happening easily when you shop.

3. Sales Aren't Leaving For Good

The brand promises to still offer sales and opportunities for discounts, but in-between major sales, you can take advantage of saving money when you shop all of the time. Not a bad deal, huh? Target shopping cart photo “We want our guests to feel a sense of satisfaction every time they shop at Target,” Mark Tritton, Target executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, said in a statement. “Part of that is removing the guesswork to ensure they feel confident they’re getting a great, low price every day. We’ve spent months looking at our entire assortment, with a focus on offering the right price every day and simplifying our marketing to make great, low prices easy to spot, all while maintaining sales we know are meaningful to guests. And guests are taking note, appreciating much easier, more clear—and more consistent savings—at Target.” Apparently, the store's been paying attention to the items customers buy everyday, and those are the items with the most potential for savings. Based on the list of discounted items above—it's clear that Target really has done their research. I mean—were they staring right into our Target carts? They must have been!
