The Consumer Product Safety Commission said 1,900 Orbit brand self-balancing scooters are being recalled.

The lithium-ion battery packs inside can overheat, leaving the hoverboards at risk of smoking, catching fire and/or exploding.

No incidents or injuries have been reported, but consumers should stop using the product and contact world trading to exchange it for a free UL-certified replacement hoverboard.

Evine's televised shopping programs and evine.com sold the hoverboards in December 2015.
