If you haven't checked out the new and improved Riviera Beach Marina Village, there are significant upgrades to the property. It's been at least three years since I last visited the area and I was pleasantly delighted.

As you pull on to W 13th Street from US-1, the new Marina greets you with dramatic improvements like landscaping, pavers, modern buildings and contemporary signage.

Where the once iconic tiki bar once stood is now a parking lot with ample spaces; a far cry from the dirt lots that once existed. If you were a fan of the old Tiki Bar, you'd be happy to know the new development does include a Tiki Bar. Rafiki Tikiwhich has specials on Miller Lite buckets of beer and a Tiki hut on the patio for old times sake.

The Marina connects water seekers to a plethora of outdoor activities including diving, wild thing boat rides, Majestic Princess Cruises. There is a Water Taxi to Peanut Island so you can take JFK Bunker Tours. The shuttle boat even has a shaded pergola while you wait. There are even accommodations for your dog.

One of the biggest improvements is the large plaza perfect for hosting large outdoor events along the water. Or the Marina Event center for air conditioned activities.

And obviously, there are plenty of places for people to dock their boats. There's even a beach to launch kayaks, paddle boards, and jet skis which will launch you into the waters around the Blue Herron Bridge and Peanut Island.

They aren't done developing the property yet.  Still to come are several restaurants, shops, and a public market. shops and a permanent year-round Public Market.
