'Today' Show health expert Joy Bauer to speak at Meals on Wheels breakfast in West Palm Beach

NBC’s TODAY Show nutrition and health expert Joy Bauer will be the featured guest speaker for the Jan. 30 “More than a Meal” Breakfast presented by the Leslie L. Alexander Foundation, benefiting Meals on Wheels of the Palm Beaches.

Registration for “More than a Meal” begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Kravis Center’s Cohen Pavilion in West Palm Beach. Following the program at 9:30 a.m., VIP ticket holders will meet and greet with Bauer, one of the world’s leading authorities on health and weight loss, and receive her latest cookbook, Joy’s Simple Food Remedies, for signing.

“We’re excited to have Joy coming to South Florida and to help those attending learn how to tap into the healing power of food,” said Meals on Wheels of the Palm Beaches President and CEO Pamela Calzadilla. “Joy is well-known to national television audiences and readers around the world as an accomplished author and speaker offering practical, reliable, and easy-to-follow advice helping people eat better, live healthier, and lead more fulfilling lives.”

“More than a Meal” will feature WPTV NewsChannel 5’s weekend anchor Tania Rogers as Mistress of Ceremonies.

Tickets for “More than a Meal” Breakfast are $125 per person. For VIP Meet and Greet, tickets are $175 (includes breakfast and a signed cookbook).
