PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — The weekend is nearly here and here's a guide of 5 fun things to do but still maintaining your social distance.

1) Wellington Drive-In Movies
Free drive-in movies at WellingtonGreen Park. You have to register for your free space. Gates close when the movies begin. You are encouraged to bring your own snacks and wear your face mask while out of your car.

2) Food Truck Tailgate Event - Delray Beach
The Socially Distanced Supper Club is bringing in local food trucks and merchandisers and are holding a socially distancing event. You can bring a chair or sit in your car and a mask is required when social distancing is not possible. There will be drawings and music by DJ Johnny B. Saturday, Aug. 8 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Big Apple Plaza on Atlantic Avenue.

3) The Man with the Horn - Virtual
Jill & Rich Switzer and Friends will celebrate the iconic songs of Chet Baker, Louis Armstrong, Stan Getz, Miles Davis, Chuck Mangione, and more with special guest vocalist/jazz trumpeter Chris Santiago. The performance will be streamed from the Cultural Council For Palm Beach County live on palmbeachculture.com. You can watch for free Saturday, Aug.8 from 7 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. The host for the evening is WPTV NewsChannel 5's T.A. Walker (yes, I know I'm writing about myself in the third person).

4) Sixth Annual Pup Crawl - Stuart
All month-long in downtown Stuart the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast (HSTC) is presenting its annual Pup Crawl. For $25 participants will get a free drink at 6 different outdoor bars. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic instead of this being a one-night event they will be hosting it all month long. The best part is you can bring your dog along with you.

5) Hard Rock Stadium Theater - Miami Gardens
All movies start at 6:45 p.m. Be sure to book in advance because they usually sell out.
