The Maltz Jupiter Theatre has three phases, or "Acts," of renovations and expansions planned. The theater says the improvements are necessary to help the facility to become a destinational regonal theatre. Making it capable of launching pre-Broadway productions and national tours.

"Act One" which costs around $4.2 million started in April, 2019. It was completed over this summer and included new signage, an electrical building, new parking lot that was designed to improve traffic flow.
"Act Two," slated to begin in April, 2021 will feature a production center spanning three floors. It will improve the stage size and orchestra, add a loading dock, two chorus rooms, dressing rooms, costume shop, rehearsal halls and more. The venue has raised $15 million to complete the "Second Act" and needs to raise $7 million more. The total project is estimated to cost $35 million.
