Arguably the most notable personality in South Florida radio is Kevin Rolston from the KVJ Show on 97.9 WRMF.
He is adding an hour-long sports show to his daily duties on 640 The Hurricane called "Kevin's Other Show." The sports show will air daily at 3 p.m. featuring local topics as well as national sports conversations.
When Kevin and I worked at iHeartRadio I often was amazed at what a hard worker he was; always coming in earlier than any other host to make sure he was fully prepped for the day.
It's important to note that he will not be breaking up his morning team with Virginia and Jason. That show will continue to air every weekday on WRMF from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Kevin admits the addition of this show is an outlet for him, "Unbelievably, sports is one of the most hated topics on the KVJ Show. I LOVE sports! Thankfully, I'm now free to focus on sports, while using the same style I've taken with KVJ for almost 20 years."

Kevin, always self-deprecating, jokes, "I'm not sure if this opportunity is really a compliment to [Alpha Media's] faith in my broadcasting ability, or just an attempt to stop me from talking about sports on a Hot AC (the music format of WRMF's ) morning show. Either way, I'm pumped!"
