5 fun things to do this weekend in South Florida (Dec. 21 - Christmas)

1) Hoffman's Chocolate's Winter Wonderland - Greenacres
This adventure will occupy hours of time. You can go ice skating in an outdoor rink, then take a Chocolate Christmas Tree Bar decorating class with Santa, roam around and check out all of the 125,000 lights in the Winter Wonderland. Ice Skating costs, $15 an hour, and the Winter Wonderland is free. Santa is there on select dates.

2) Mounts Botanical's "Garden of Lights" - West Palm Beach
Thousands of lights illuminating foliage around the garden. The pretension was installed by the same company that produces Admirals Cove, and Las Olas's displays. The garden is open nightly at 5:30 and costs $10 for adults and $5 for children ages five to 12 and $8 for members. It's running now through Dec. 30.

3) Lights 4 Hope Holiday Light Show - West Palm Beach
A breathtaking drive-thru holiday light display at Okeeheelee Park running Friday - Sunday through Jan. 6. Open Friday and Saturdays from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Sundays.

4) Sound of Music - West Palm Beach
The hills are alive! Experience this brand new production of The Sound of Music. The beloved musical story of Maria and the von Trapp Family will once again thrill audiences with its Tony, Grammy and Academy Award winning Best Score, including My Favorite Things, Edelweiss and the title song. Tickets start at $42 (plus taxes and fee). Dec. 21 at 8 p.m.

5) Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer - West Palm Beach
The beloved TV classic Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer soars off the screen and onto the stage this holiday season. See all of your favorite characters as they come to life in Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical. Recommended for ages 4-10. Tickets start at $20 (plus taxes and fee). Runs Dec. 23 at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
