WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Gov. Ron DeSantis recently announced that the COVID-19 vaccine will first be distributed to health-care providers, first responders and senior citizens (65 or older).

If you meet the above criteria, here's where you can find the vaccine in South Florida and on the Treasure Coast:

Palm Beach County

  • By appointment only through the Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County

Martin County

  • By appointment only through the Florida Department of Health in Martin County
  • Call (772) 221-4000 and then select #3 to schedule an appointment

St. Lucie County

  • By appointment only through the Florida Department of Health in St. Lucie County
  • COVID-19 vaccine clinics are fully booked, but residents wanting to receive a vaccine are encouraged to register online to be notified when more vaccines are available

Indian River County

  • By appointment only through the Florida Department of Health in Indian River County
  • COVID-19 vaccine allotment fully allocated, but residents wanting to receive a vaccine are encouraged to complete a consent form in advance

Broward County

  • By appointment only through the Florida Department of Health in Broward County
  • All appointments have been booked, but anyone wanting to receive a vaccine is encouraged to check back online

Miami-Dade County

  • By appointment only through Jackson Health System and Mount Sinai Medical Center
  • All appointments through Jackson Health System are fully booked
  • Anyone wanting to receive a vaccine at Mount Sinai Medical Center can schedule an appointment by calling (305) 674-2312 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on weekends from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
