Three local communities are in the running for the 2019 Great Places in Florida People's Choice Awards.

Downtown Boca Raton is among six finalists in the contest that's being held by the Florida Chapter of the American Planning Association.

South Palm Park in Lake Worth Beach is also in the running, along with the Jupiter Riverwalk.
